I love @aswanley and this was my first time doing bridal prep at the new Clatterin' Brig Cottage. What a day for it and what a couple! Shania & Scott switched it up all day between Eleganza McVoguerson and daft nonsense, making them one of my Ideal Couples™. Anyway, here's a wee swatch at how they partied the evening away...

The thing I don't like about doing a single highlights video of the whole day is having to choose just one little section of it to share with the world. Rewatching Beth & Graham's highlights, I just want to share the whole darn thing, so everyone can see the romance, fun and partying (and the improptu bridal party rendition of 'Dancing in the Moonlight' at the end)... but hey, you can get a wee swatch of this poem Beth's sisters wrote for the big day. It's something, at least 🤷‍♂️

Cara & Lewis powered through a dreaded lurgy to celebrate their #wedding , but they didn't let it diminish their day. I couldn't point the bloody camera at Cara without capturing a grin or a laugh. The dancing in the evening was fantastic (thanks @paultweddingandpartydj ), but the shenanigans of the morning prep just had to be shared, with it's impromptu steamings, falling dresses and glue-guns. Beautiful chaos 😍

I've sat on this one without sharing anything from it for a while, because it's a bit outside my usual wheelhouse, but so much of what made Casey & Nicholas' day special was quite different too. One of the most important elements of their day was having @samueljepsonsinger provide the soundtrack to the day, so how could he not be the soundtrack to their video as well? Their afternoon highlights feature a performance from the reception of a song I didn't really know, but now love, having heard Samuel sing it.

Between Sam's singing, the gorgeous weather at stunning @logiecountryhouse and Casey & Nicholas' passion, this just had to get put out into the world.

Fiona's dad really drove the decision to post her

Fiona's dad really drove the decision to post her and Ricky's afternoon highlights, by bawling his eyes out in the morning highlights (it was beautiful) and lying down on the dancefloor (it was beautiful) in the evening highlights. Their whole day was gold, though, and I loved being a part of it!

I really wanted to share the Evening Highlights from Gemma & Ross' wonderful, joyful day at @logiecountryhouse , but watching the Morning Highlights back, I was struck by how much weight the sounds - the conversation and laughter - from the day can convey.
Every wedding is different and sometimes it's not possible to bring so much audio in, but when it all comes together like this, it goes that much further to telling the story of the day.
